The market leader in the test
Usenext - No wishes unfulfilled
Usenext is probably the best-known Usenet provider worldwide and is often used as a synonym for Usenet itself. I have taken a closer look at the industry leader from Germany for you and explain the advantages in more detail in the following article.
Test result Usenext
Positive
- Best speed in the test
- Best support in the test
- 100 simultaneous connections
- Free test phase

Negative
- Comparatively high price
Speed
9.9
Usenext delivers the best result in the speed comparison. The test downloads from SBZnzbd can almost continuously utilize the 1,000 Mbit line used up to the theoretical maximum.
As a result, Usenext permanently achieves over 100 MB/s in the test series, which is the best value in the speed tests.

Overall, the ratings for Usenext are very positive, with over 1,000 customer testimonials. Customers praise the company’s friendly and competent customer service, which is able to solve problems efficiently. Customers mention that they have been satisfied with USENEXT’s services for many years.

Frequent feedback:

Services
9.4
Usenext offers its new customers a free 14-day trial period incl. 10 GB available. This means that the service itself can be put through its paces before a payment is due. There is no risk involved – you can cancel at any time – something we have tested ourselves. It should also be mentioned that you have to enter your payment details for the test so that a debit can take place after the test phase if you are satisfied with the service.
Payment at Usenext can be made conveniently via PayPal, credit card, iDeal or direct debit, the latter of which is only available in Germany.
Usenext has a retention time of more than 5,300 days, which means that content from the last 15 years can currently be accessed, which is also the best value of all providers in the comparison.
The homepage offers an extensive FAQ section that provides answers to many questions and problems.
Usenext focuses on security and data protection. The provider has a strict no-log policy, no activities are tracked and advanced 256-bit encryption is provided.
Contrary to the information on the website, we found out that Usenext provides 100 simultaneous connections to Usenet, which is an absolute top value in the industry! The homepage only mentioned 30 connections.
Customer support
9.4
If you need support, Usenext’s customer service is available via e-mail, Facebook and also by phone. Telephone support is an exception for all providers and is available in German and English.
Our test support requests were always answered within two hours, which is a very fast response time in comparison. We were able to cancel our test registration very easily over the phone. A member of staff answered the phone immediately, who was very friendly and seemed very competent. The Usenext service only works from Monday to Friday, which is the norm in comparison.
Another positive feature is the chatbot provided on the website. The chatbot was able to give us confident answers to common questions and answers, but it is not connected to customer data, which is why questions about the contractual relationship have to be answered by email or telephone.
Price-performance ratio
7.9
Usenext offers various subscriptions with different terms (monthly, yearly). The prices are based on the amount of so-called high-speed data volume. Prices currently start at a moderate €7.95 with 30GB high-speed data volume.
Once the high-speed data volume is used up, it’s not over yet – Usenext offers a flat rate with a reduced bandwidth of 2,000 kbit/s, which we really like!
Usenext offers the best service of all providers, but this is also reflected in the price. If you want to save money on your Usenet access, you are probably better off with a provider.
Conclusion on Usenext
Overall, Usenext receives an unqualified recommendation from Usenet Expert as a premium provider. Usenext is particularly suitable for users who value speed and outstanding support. We particularly liked the free trial period and the 100 simultaneous connections. No other provider offers a reduced flat rate after the high-speed data volume has been used up. Only the price is a minor point deduction; if you want to save money on your Usenet access, you are welcome to take a closer look at other providers.
